Moving out

On the day of completion, you will be able to pick up the keys to your new house and the previous incumbents will be required to move out.

It would be a good idea to speak with the estate agents involved to coordinate the moving process on the day. Make sure that you are able to pick up the keys to your new home and move in at the time agreed and that the property is already empty!

Don't forget to take a gas, electricity and water meter readings (if applicable) from the property before you leave and keep a safe record of it.
